THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kiplagat Kitur alias Kiplagat arap Kitur (deceased), is the registered proprietor of all that piece of land known as Eldoret Municipality Blok 23 (Kingongo)/287, situate in the county of Uasin Gushu, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Eldoret in Succession Cause No. 59 of 2017, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Kimaiyo Kosgei and (2) Anna Chesondin Tirop, and whereas the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Kiplagat Kitur alias Kiplagat arap Kitur (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
