THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Wanjiku Karuga Muiga (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.01 hectares or thereabout, situate in district of Nyeri, known as Nyeri/Endarasha/4381, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Nyeri in Succession Cause No. 274 of 2021, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Peter Theuri Karuga, as the administrator and the beneficiaries being (1) Peter Theuri Karuga and (2) Florence Wangui Muturi, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Wanjiku Karuga Muiga (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 in favour of the said Peter Theuri Karuga, as the administrator and the beneficiaries being (1) Peter Theuri Karuga and (2) Florence Wangui Muturi, and upon such registration the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Wanjiku Karuga Muiga (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
