(Cap. 266) COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF TAITA TAVETA TRADERS AND PROPERTY OWNERS IN DESIGNATED TRADING CENTRES WITHIN TAITA TAVETA COUNTY ON PAYMENT OF RATES ACCORDING to the provisions of the Taita Taveta County Finance Act and the Valuation for Rating Act, the County Government of Taita Taveta through the Department of Lands Physical Planning, Mining, and Urban Development hereby notifies all traders and property owners within the gazetted Trading Centres of the county that payment of land rates and other applicable charges for the Financial Year [2024/2025] is now due and payable. All concerned parties are required to: 1. Settle any outstanding rates and arrears immediately to avoid enforcement action. 2504 2504 2. Obtain updated rate demand notices from the Sub-County Revenue Offices 3. Make payments through designated County Revenue collection accounts or approved mobile payment platforms. Failure to comply will result in penalties, accrued interest, or legal action including but not limited to property distress, listing for repossession, and/or court proceedings by applicable law. Any interested persons who wish to make any inquiries in connection with the above Notice may do so through the County Physical Planning office P.O.
