THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Daniel Odoyo Oda alias Odaro Oda (deceased), of P.O. Box 255, Oyugis in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the sub-county of Rachuonyo East, known as E. Kasipul/Kojwach/989, and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Oyugis in Succession Cause No. 299 of 2021, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Silpa Atieno Odoyo, of P.O. Box 255, Oyugis in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said Daniel Odoyo Oda alias Odaro Oda (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue a land title deed to Silpa Atieno Odoyo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Daniel Odoyo Oda alias Odaro Oda (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
