THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Josphat Gichovi Mungura (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.18 hectare or thereabouts, registered under title No. Ngandori/Kirigi/14839, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in Succession Cause No. E191 of 2022, has issued grant of letters of administration to Anna Muthoni Josphat Gicovi, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Anna Muthoni Josphat Gicovi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Josphat Gichovi Mungura (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
