THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Leonard Grogan Leshamta, of P.O. Box 90120– 80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of leasehold ownership interest of all that parcel of land containing 0.0509 hectare or thereabouts, known as L.R. No. 4118/181, situate in the Taveta Municipality in the Taita Taveta District, registered as C.R. 15425, and whereas sufficient evidence has been eddeced to show that the land register in respect thereof is lost or misplaced, and whereas the owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that at the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within the period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under section 33(5) of the Act.
