THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Isangaiwishi Development Community is registered as proprietor in absolute ownership of that piece of land containing 5560.5 hectares or thereabout, known as Bura/Isangaiswishi Scheme/19, situate in the county of Taita/Taveta, and whereas the Environment and Land Court at Voi in ELCLC No. E004 of 2023, vide a decree issued on the 16th May, 2025 that the defendants have acquired the title to the land by way of adverse possession, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to cancel the said title deed held by Isangaiwishi Development Community and proceed to rectify by registering the defendants as the lawful owners and the said title deed shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
