THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ngunya w/o Wambua (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that parcel of land, situate in the district of Makueni, known as Nzaui/Nziu/597, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court in succession cause No. E19 of 2025, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Maria Mumbua Muema and whereas the said court has executed the land application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of Ngunya w/o Wambua (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of 24th April, 2026 THE KENYA GAZETTE thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in the name of Maria Mumbua Muema and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Ngunya w/o Wambua (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
