THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Joseph Mutuma Raikanya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.385 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Meru, known as Nyaki/Kithoka/959, and whereas the High Court at Meru in Succession Cause No. H.C/R.M 279 of 2010, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Sarah Kathure Mutuma (ID/2482636) and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 and whereas the land title deed in respect of Joseph Mutuma Raikanya (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of R.L. 19 in the name of Sarah Kathure Mutuma and upon such registration the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Joseph Mutuma Raikanya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
