THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Joseph Omboto Odero alias Omboto Odero (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the district of Kisumu, known as Kisumu/Kanyawegi/187, and whereas in the Chief Magistrare’s Court at Kisumu in Succession Cause No. 108 of 2020, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Caroline Adongo Oloo, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Joseph Omboto Odero alias Omboto Odero (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Joseph Omboto Odero alias Omboto Odero (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
