THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Peter Gititu Kuria (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as Gituamba/Muhotetu Block 2/1396 (Muhotetu), situate in the district of Laikipia, and whereas in the Chief Magistrates’s Court at Nyeri in Succession Cause No. 374 of 2018, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Dorcas Nyachira Muthiga, and whereas the said Dorcas Nyachira Muthiga has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 19, and whereas the land title deed of the said piece of land are lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instrument of transmission of L.R.A. 19 in the name of Dorcas Nyachira Muthiga, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Peter Gititu Kuria (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
