THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Andrew Mberesia alias Andrea Mbelesia Asilwa (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as L.R. No. Kakamega/Shikulu/1764, situate in the district of Kakamega, whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kakamega Succession Cause No. E44 of 2025, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Chrispinus Lwanga Mberesia, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to Andrew Mberesia alias Andrea Mbelesia Asilwa (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof and provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the land title deed and proceed with the registration of L.R.A. 39 and upon such registration the land certificate issued earlier to the said Andrew Mberesia alias Andrea Mbelesia Asilwa (deceased) shall be deemed cancelled and of no effect.
