THE CONSITUTION OF KENYA THE PUBLIC FINANCE MANAGEMENT ACT

NOTICE is given that pursuant to the powers conferred by Article 210 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, section 159 of the Public Finance management Act, and sections 6 and 7 of the Mombasa County Tax waiver and Variation Act, 2017 and all other enabling laws, I, Evans Oanda, the Executive committee Member Finance, Economic Planning and Digital Transformation, Mombasa County Government, do waive Mortuary Storage Fees applicable in the Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital for the first seven (7) days following admission of a body into the mortuary provided the deceased persons: (a) Were residents of Mombasa County at the time of death; and (b) Passed away within the Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital or such other County Government of Mombasa health facilities as may be designated in writing by the County Executive Member responsible for Health. this notice takes effect from the 2nd March, 2026.
