THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Florence Nzilani (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, containing 2.46 hectares or thereabout, situate in the Taita/Taveta County, known as Taita Taveta/Maungu Buguta S. Scheme/654, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Voi in ELC No. E27 of 2022, vide a decree dated 12th February, 2026 decreed that the registration of Florence Nzilani as the proprietor of the suit parcel was fraudulently obtained and therefore illegal, null and void and directed the land registrar to cancel the name of Florence Nzilani from register and register Jonathan Kalii Kalili as the proprietor thereof, notice is given that the title deed held by Florence Nzilani shall be cancelled within thirty (30) days from the date hereof, and I shall proceed to rectify the register by registering Jonathan Kalii Kilili as the lawful owner of the said land and the title deed in the name of Florence Nzilani shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
