THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Dorina Atieno Obuya (deceased), of P.O. Box 297– 40222, Oyugis in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the sub-county of Rachuonyo East, known as E. Kasipul/Kojwach Kamioro/1531, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Oyugis in Succession Cause No. E432 of 2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Ruth Akinyi Ouma, of P.O. Box 297–40222, Oyugis in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said Dorina Atieno Obuya (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and issue a land title deed to Ruth Akinyi Ouma, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Dorina Atieno Obuya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect Dated the 10th April, 2026.
