IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 83 (1) of the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act, the Agency Director gives notice to (1) Curtis Muli and (2) Directorate of Criminal Investigations that the High Court has issued preservation orders in Nairobi High Court Miscellaneous Application No. E16 of 2026 as specified in the Schedule hereto: REPUBLIC OF KENYA IN THE HIGH COURT OF KENYA AT NAIROBI ANTI-CORRUPTION AND ECONOMIC CRIMES DIVISION HCACEC MISC NO. E16 OF 2025 AGENCY DIRECTOR, ASSETS RECOVERY AGENCY--------------------------APPLICANT -VERSUS- CURTIS MULI ------------------------------- RESPONDENT AND DIRECTORATE OF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS------------------INTERESTED PARY ORDERS (COURT DOCUMENT) UPON CONSIDERATION of the Originating Motion dated 11th March, 2026 brought by way of Certificate of Urgency under sections 81 and 82 Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act and order 51 Rule 1 of the Civil Procedure Rules and upon reading the affidavit in support of the motion by Mohammed Hussein; It is ordered as follows: 1. THAT an Order be and is issued for the preservation of KSh. 509,495, USD 12,601 Euros 15, TSh. 24,000 and Angolan Kwanza 10,000 seized from the respondent's house and in the custody of the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations. 2. THAT an order be and is issued directing the Interested Party herein to handover the funds in order 1 above to Mr. Mohammed Hussein or such other officer as maybe authorized by the Director- General and be deposited in the Respondent's Criminal Assets Recovery Preservation account Nos. 1240221339 (KSh.), 1292910038 (USD) and 1292914076 (Euro) domiciled at KCB Bank KICC Branch. 3. THAT the file is closed.
