THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Lynne Lennah Kiteta (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land containing 3.0 and 1.33 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Kitui, known as Mulango/Wikililye/705 and 1629, respectively, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kitui in Succesion Cause No. E234 of 2024, has issued letters of administration in favour of Jones Wayne Kiteta, and whereas the said Jones Wayne Kiteta has executed land application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 39, and whereas the land title deeds issued earlier to Lynne Lennah Kiteta (deceased) have been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said Land title deeds and proceed with the registration of the said L.R.A. 39, and upon such registration, the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Lynne Lennah Kiteta (deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
