THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS George Irungu Njuguna (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.16 hectares or thereabout, under lease known as Kagaari/Weru/3209, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas in the Senior Resident Magistrate’s Court at Kenol in Succession Cause No. E37 of 2024, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Edius Jemimah Waiyego Irungu, and whereas the said Edius Jemimah Waiyego Irungu have executed an application to be registered as proprietors by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Edius Jemimah Waiyego Irungu, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said George Irungu Njuguna (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
