THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ongoro Ouma (deceased), is registered as proprietor in absolute ownership interest of all that piece of land situate in Migori County, known as North Sakwa/Kakmasia/8, and whereas the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Rongo in succession cause No. E93 of 2023 has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Grace Achieng Ongoro, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to Ongoro Ouma (deceased) has been lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Ongoro Ouma (deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
