THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS James Kimani Kariuki (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.202 hectare or thereabouts, known as Mitubiri/Wempa/Block 1/4943, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nakuru in Succession Cause No. 138 of 2015, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Francis Maina Kariuki (ID/9578122), of P.O. Box 8, Kenol in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue land title deed to the said Francis Maina Kariuki (ID/9578122), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said James Kimani Kariuki (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
