IT IS notified for general information that, under the provisions of Standing Order No. 24 as read together with Standing Order No. 25 of the County Assembly of Marsabit Standing Orders, by a resolution made on 12th February, 2026, the County Assembly approved the calendar of the Assembly’s Regular Sessions for 2026 as set out in the Schedule: (Regular Session of the County Assembly February to December, 2026) Sitting Dates Sitting Days/Times Recess Dates Fifth Session – Part I 10th February, 2026 to 5th March, 2026 Tuesdays – Afternoon Wednesdays – Morning and Afternoon Thursdays – Afternoon 6th March, 2026 to 23rd March, 2026 24th March, 2026 to 23rd April, 2026 Tuesdays – Afternoon Wednesdays – Morning and Afternoon Thursdays – Afternoon 24th April, 2026 to 25th May, 2026 Fifth Session – Part II 26th May, 2026 to 2nd July, 2026 Tuesdays – Afternoon Wednesdays – Morning and Afternoon Thursdays – Afternoon 3rd July, 2026 to 3rd August, 2026 4th August, 2026 to Tuesdays – Afternoon Wednesdays – 4th September, 2026 to Sitting Dates Sitting Days/Times Recess Dates 3rd September, 2026 Morning and Afternoon Thursdays – Afternoon 21st September, 2026 Fifth Session – Part III 22nd September, 2026 to 29th October, 2026 Tuesdays – Afternoon Wednesdays – Morning and Afternoon Thursdays – Afternoon 30th October, 2026 to 9th November, 2026 10th November, 2026 to 3rd December, 2026 Tuesdays – Afternoon Wednesdays – Morning and Afternoon Thursdays – Afternoon 4th December, 2026 to 8th February, 2027 Note: (i) The Assembly shall sit in the afternoons from 2.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Wednesdays, pursuant to Standing Order No. 27 (1) of the County Assembly. (ii) Special sittings shall be notified through Gazette notices, as per Standing Order No. 26 (3) of the County Assembly.
