THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Nicholas Mworia Mwereria (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.0395 hectare or thereabout, known as Meru Municipality Block II/165, situate in the sdistrict of Meru, and whereas the High Court at Meru in Succession Cause No. 143 of 2009, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to William Muriuki M’Mwongo (ID/2506284) and whereas the said court has executed land application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 19 in respect of the said parcel of land registered in the name of Nicholas Mworia Mwereria (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 19 in the name of William Muriuki M’Mwongo (ID/2506284), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Nicholas Mworia Mwereria (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
