THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Richard Ndwiga Wambugu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.18 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Embu, known as Gaturi/Nembure/12140, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in Succession Cause No. E4 of 2025, has issued grant of letters of administration to Niceta Njura Richard, and whereas the said Niceta Njura Richard has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Niceta Njura Richard, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Richard Ndwiga Wambugu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
