THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 49(1) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act (Cap. 303), Notice is given that the preparation of the above Plans was on the 24th February, 2026 completed. Copies of the Plans as prepared have been deposited for public inspection at the Ahero and Maseno Towns Administrative Offices and the Office of the County Director in charge of Physical and Land Use Planning, Kisumu County. The Plans may also be accessed through the official website of the County Government of Kisumu (www.kisumu.go.ke). The copies are available for inspection free of charge by all persons interested at the above-mentioned offices between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on working days. Any interested person who wishes to make any representation in connection with or objection to the above Physical and Land Use Development Plans may send such representations or objections in writing to be received by the County Executive Committee Member in charge of Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development P.O. Box 2738–40100, Kisumu within sixty (60) days from the date of publication of this notice and such representations or comments shall state the grounds upon which they are made.
