THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Sela Atieno Okoth, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Kisumu/Border/2557, situate in the county of Kisumu, and whereas a summon was issued by the land registrar Nyando Sub-county at Nyando land registry dated 15th October, 2025 and later 24th November, 2025, and whereas determination was made to expunge the register of Kisumu/Border/2557 in the names of Sela Atieno Okoth, and whereas she was directed to surrender the original land title held by her within fourteen (14) days and the same has not been surrendered, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed to expunge register record in the names of Sela Atieno Okoth and register Kisumu/Border/25257 in the name of Alphonce Ochieng Wabwaya, and upon such expunging the land title deed issued earlier to the said Sela Atieno Okoth, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
