THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Francis Gachoki Mbogo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Mbeere/Wachoro/461, situate in the Sub-county of Mbeere, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Succession Cause No. 99 of 1991, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Lucy Nyawira Gachoki (ID/9873833), and whereas the said court has executed land application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 19 in respect of the said parcel of land registered in the name of Francis Gachoki Mbogo (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 19 in the name of Lucy Nyawira Gachoki (ID/9873833), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Francis Gachoki Mbogo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
