THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Misheck Dave Njeru (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.0 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Embu, registered under title No. Gaturi/Githimu/1044, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Embu in Succession Cause No. E256 of 2024, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation to Lucy Gitavi Njeru, and whereas the said land title deed is reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Lucy Gitavi Njeru, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Misheck Dave Njeru (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
