APPOINTMENT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section section 15 (2) and (3) of the National Rating Act, 2024, the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Physical Planning, Urban Development and Mining, appoints the 30th April, 2026, as the due date for payment of rates for the financial year 2025/2026. The rates payable shall be those levied in accordance with the National Rating Act and as provided under the Taita Taveta County Finance Act, 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, pursuant to section 15 (4) of the Act, the valuation roll or any supplementary valuation roll in force on the date the rate becomes payable shall be conclusive evidence of the matters contained therein.
