THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Christopher Opollo Malingu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land known as Bunyala/Bulemia/3055 and 4105 situate in Busia County, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Port Victoria in Succession Cause No. E33 of 2025, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Beatrice Akhaenda Mboshe, and whereas the said title deeds issued earlier to the said Christopher Opollo Malingu (deceased), have been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deeds and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Christopher Opollo Malingu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
