THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 15 (4) of the County Governments Act, 2012, and Standing Order No. 28 of the County Assembly of Baringo, the Speaker of the County Assembly, gives notice that a special sitting of the County Assembly shall be held on the 2nd February, 2026 at 9.30 a.m. at the County Assembly Chambers, Kabarnet town. The Business to be transacted shall be: (a) Tabling of a County Executive Committee Member (CECM) nominee Mr. Samuel Saitawua Lentete, for Youth, Gender, Sports, Culture, Social Services and Heritage Department for consideration by the County Assembly in accordance with the Constitution and the County Governments Act, 2012. (b) Tabling and deliberation of Powers and Privileges Committee Report. Further, the County Assembly shall proceed on recess and resume its sittings on the 9th February, 2026.
