THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Simon Kamau Kimani (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.675 acre or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kiambu, known as Kiambaa/Thimbigua/2268, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kikuyu in Succession Cause No. E367 of 2020, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Teresiah Wanjiku Kamau and (2) Jane Muthoni Kamau, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Simon Kamau Kimani (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the said (1) Teresiah Wanjiku Kamau and (2) Jane Muthoni Kamau, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Simon Kamau Kimani (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
