THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Simon Mwangangi Mwei (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the county of Machakos, containing 19.00 hectares or thereabout, known as Mavoko Town Block 3/2787, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Mombasa in Succession Cause No. E159 of 2020, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Paul Mutisya Mwangangi and (2) Mary Wayua Mwangangi, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said Simon Mwangangi Mwei (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and issue a land title deed to (1) Paul Mutisya Mwangangi and (2) Mary Wayua Mwangangi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Simon Mwangangi Mwei (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
