THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Michael Omungin (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those parcel of land, situate in the Busia County, known as South Teso/Chakol/1173, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Busia in Succession Cause No. E37 of 2020, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Felista Amukulon Omongin, (2) David Idukai Omongin and (3) Margaret Nekesa, and whereas the said land title deeds issued earlier to the said Michael Omungin (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Michael Omungin (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
