THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Tito Shilingi Matini (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those parcels of land, situate in the Busia County, known as Bukhayo/Ebusibwabo/170 and South Teso/Angoromo/212, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Busia in Succession Cause No. E550 of 2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Fredrick Henry Tito and (2) Godfrey Wandera Makokha, and whereas the said title deeds issued earlier to the said Tito Shilingi Matini (deceased), have been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Tito Shilingi Matini (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
