THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Zameen Land and Sand Company Limited, of P.O. Box 99445–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya is registered as proprietor of leasehold interest of all that parcel of land, containing 0.8944 hectare or thereabouts, known as L.R. No. 14828/9-Kilifi, situate in the Kilifi Municipality in the Kilifi District, registered as CF. 75063, and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed and efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas the owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under section 33 (3) of the Act.
