NOTICE is given to all members of the County Assembly of Kirinyaga that pursuant to Standing Order 26 of the County Assembly Standing Orders, on the request by the leader of the majority party, I have appointed four special sittings of the County Assembly on the Wednesday 29th January, 2025, as follows— 1. 9.00 a.m. first special sitting for:- (a) Tabling of the Budget and Appropriations Committee Report on the consideration of Supplementary Budget No. 1 for the 2024/2025 Financial Year. (b) Issuance of Notice of Motion. 2. 10.00 a.m. second special sitting for:- (a) Motion for the adoption of the Budget and Appropriations Committee Report on the consideration of Supplementary Budget No. 1 for the 2024/2025 Financial Year. (b) First Reading of the Kirinyaga County Supplementary Appropriation (No. 1) Bill, 2025. 3. 12.00 p.m. third special sitting for:- (a) Second Reading of the Kirinyaga County Supplementary Appropriation (No. 1) Bill, 2025. 24th January, 2025 THE KENYA GAZETTE (b) Committee of the whole County Assembly for the consideration of the Kirinyaga County Supplementary Appropriation (No.1) Bill, 2025, at the committee stage. 4. 1.00 p.m. fourth special sitting for:- (a) Third Reading of the Kirinyaga County Supplementary Appropriation (No.1) Bill, 2025. The special sittings shall be held in the County Assembly Chambers, Kerugoya. In accordance with Standing Order 26 (3) of the County Assembly of Kirinyaga Standing Orders, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly during the special sittings.
