THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Daudi Semere (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.21 hectare or thereabouts, known as South Maragoli/Kegoye/1121, situate in the Sub-county of Vihiga, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Vihiga in Succession Cause No. E19 of 2022, has issued letters of administration in favour of (1) Joshua Asenah Odongo and (2) Catherine Afandi Jumbe, and whereas the said (1) Joshua Asenah Odongo and (2) Catherine Afandi Jumbe have executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of (1) Joshua Asenah Odongo and (2) Catherine Afandi Jumbe, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Daudi Semere (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
