Take Notice that: 1. A first meeting of creditors has been requested by the Joint Administrators of East African Cables PLC (in Administration) and will be held on Tuesday, 19th August, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in a hybrid format — either physically at East African Cables, Addis Ababa Road, Industrial Area, or virtually via an online platform. 2. Creditors are requested to confirm attendance by email (see below), indicating their preferred mode — Physical or Virtual — by Friday, 15th August, 2025. Registration details will be shared with those who confirm attendance. 3. The Joint Administrators will circulate their Statement of Proposals to all creditors with claims against the Company ahead of the meeting. Creditors who do not receive the proposals by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, 12th August, 2025 may request a copy via the email below. 4. To vote at the meeting, creditors MUST have submitted their claim against the Company, together with appropriate supporting documentation, to the Joint Administrators. Any creditor that has not already submitted their claim against the Company is advised to do so 5618 5618 at the address (including email) provided below on or before Friday, 15th August, 2025. 5. Creditors may attend the meeting either in person or by way of proxy. Proxies to be used at the meeting will be shared with the creditors together with the Proposals and must be lodged with the Joint Administrators at the postal or email address provided below on or before Friday, 15th August, 2025. If the appointer is a body corporate, the proxy must be executed under its common seal or by an authorized officer or attorney. 6. Creditors unable to attend the meeting in person or by proxy are requested to communicate their decision on the Proposals to the Joint Administrators, in writing, through the postal or email address below to be received on or before Friday, 15th August, 2025. 7.
