THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Rifinus Oworo Siang’ani (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as Marach/Ebukhalalire/310, situate in the district of Busia, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Busia in Succession Cause No. E95 of 2022, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Richard Okoth Akum Otieno and (2) Richard Ooko Ochieng, and whereas the said land title deed issued to Rifinus Oworo Siang’ani (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 of the said application, and whereas upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Rifinus Oworo Siang’ani (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
