PURSUANT to the provisions of section 11 (h) and section 163 (1) of the Energy Act, 2019, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority notifies the general public that it has considered the tariff application made by Hydrobox Kenya Limited for Kiamahindu Power Station mini-grid site in Muranga County. The approved applicable tariffs for the mini-grid mentioned above for three (3) years with effect from 25th August, 2025 as follows: Customer Category Tariff (KSh./kWh) Non-Members Members Residential 25.42 22.88 Institution 20.78 18.70 Business 22.68 20.41 Anchor 23.83 21.45 Connection Fees in KSh.
