THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Juma Musungu Achielo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as South Teso/Angoromo/4060, situate in the district of Busia, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Busia in Succession Cause No. E245 of 2021, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to Florence Oradi Esonga, and whereas the said land title deed issued to Juma Musungu Achielo (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 of the said application, and whereas upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Juma Musungu Achielo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
