THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Kaydee Construction Company Limited, of P.O. Box 81141–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that parcel of land, known as Plot No. 2639/V/MN containing 0.873 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the Mombasa Municipality in the Mombasa District, by virtue of lease, registered as CR. No. 78709 and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed and efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas the owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that at the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof provided no valid objection has been received within the period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file as provided under section 33(3) of the Act.
