THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Mrabu Johnson, (2) Jones Ngala Maghanga and (3) Charo Jefwa (as trustees of Bahati Junda Self Help Group), are registered as proprietors in fee simple of all that piece of land, registered as subdivision No. 771/II/MN, situate in the Mombasa Municipality in Mombasa District, known as C.R.8594, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show the certificate of title in respect of the land register has been lost/destroyed, and whereas the registered owners have executed a deed of ondemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to proceed with the registration of said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the file and the land register as provided under section 33(5) of the Act.
