THE RECORD DISPOSAL (COURT RULES

IN accordance with the Records Disposal (Courts) Rules, notice is given that three (3) months from the date of the publication of this notice, the High Court at Kisumu, intends to apply to the Chief Justice, for leave to destroy the records, books and papers of the High Court of Kenya as set below: High Court Criminal 1963 – 2015 High Court Misc. Civil Application 2005 – 2015 High Court Civil Cases 1957 – 2004 A comprehensive list of all the records that qualify to be disposed under the Act can be perused at the High Court of Kenya, Court registry at Kisumu. Any person desiring the return of any exhibit in any of the above cases must make his/her claim within the stipulated time in this publication and should do so before the expiry of the notice. All exhibits to which no claim is substantiated before the destruction of all the records shall under Section 4 be deemed to be part of the records for the purposes of destruction.
