THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ireri Kanyaki (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.101 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Embu, known as Kagaari/Kanja/4785, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Runyenjes in Succession Cause No. 143 of 2019, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Peter Kariuki Ireri, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Ireri Kanyaki (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of transmission and issue a land title deed to the said Peter Kariuki Ireri, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Ireri Kanyaki (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
