THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Chepkwony Marisin (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Kericho/Kapsaos/64, situate in Kericho County, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kericho in Succession Cause No. E101 of 2024, has issued grant of letters administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Joel Kibet Chepwony, and whereas the land title deed issued to Chepkwony Marisin (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of L.R.A. 39 and 42 and issue land title in the name of Joel Kibet Chepwony, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Chepkwony Marisin (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
