THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Andrea Akivaga Avina (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.19 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kakamega/Lyaduywa/324, situate in the Sub- county of Sabatia, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Kisumu in Succession Cause No. 1203 of 2014, has issued letters of administration in favour of Ruth Makungu Akivaga, and whereas the said Ruth Makungu Akivaga has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Ruth Makungu Akivaga, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Andrea Akivaga Avina (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
