THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(Cap. 300)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Andrew Maingi Makau (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as Machakos/Kiandani/2080 containing 0.06 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the county of Machakos, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Machakos in Succession Cause No. 287 of 2009, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant to (1) Beatrice Loko Mbithi, (2) David Kaseke Maingi and (3) Caroline Nduku Maingi, and whereas have executed L.R.A. 39 for registration, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed for the said parcel of land have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 39 and issue land title deed to (1) Beatrice Loko Mbithi, (2) David Kaseke Maingi and (3) Caroline Nduku Maingi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Andrew Maingi Makau (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
