THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Lawi Mulunda Osikori (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as North Teso/Kocholia/1147, situate in Busia County, and whereas the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Malaba in Succession Cause No. E16 of 2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Simon Emusugut Mulunda, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to Lawi Mulunda Osikori (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument of R.L. 39 and R.L. 42 and issue land title deed to the said Simon Emusugut Mulunda, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Lawi Mulunda Osikori (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
