THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Daudi Cheptum Sawe, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, known as L.R. No. 10520, situate in the south east of Eldoret Municipality in Uasin Gishu, and whereas a decree in HCCC at Eldoret in Case No. 10/2000, declared that the surrender of the plaintiff’s farm to the Kenya Government and subsequent issue of new titles is null and void, and whereas the land registrar Uasin Gishu cancel the said new titles for Kaptagat/Kaptagat Block 1 (Lotonyok), and whereas all the proprietors of titles from Kaptagat/Kaptagat Block 1 (Lotonyok), are ordered to surrender the original titles to enable implementation of the decree, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided that no objection has been received, I intend to proceed and cancel the said titles and such production of the said titles for purposes of registration of the above order will be deemed disposed with.
